Inspiring Hope
The Rock is introducing the Hope House to the community of Mountain Home. The Hope House is designed to be a short-term living arrangement to meet the immediate needs of individuals or families in our community who require urgent, yet temporary, placement in the event of a crisis. The goal is to reflect God’s love through outreach, and to create a safe and warm environment that inspires hope.
The Hope House is equipped to serve families and individuals who have been temporarily displaced due to fire or natural disaster or are in need of short-term placement due to medical emergencies. The Hope House is not equipped to serve families and individuals in need of long-term housing or who are in need of a substance abuse treatment facility.
If you, or someone you know, is in need of temporary placement in the Hope House:
- Complete a Hope House Request Form, which will then be reviewed by staff.
- If you meet the criteria for placement and The Rock is able to meet the needs, you will be contacted directly and scheduled for an appointment to check in.
- Upon checking in, you will be greeted by a Hospitality Coordinator and given instructions for your stay.
Our desire is to make this process as convenient as possible, so that we can help to alleviate one concern during what is potentially a difficult time in your life.
At The Rock, it is our desire to make a difference in the lives of people as we believe Jesus has made a difference in ours. We have a great resource and we are excited to share it. We are pleased to offer the Hope House as a community resource for people who need short term emergency lodging. We hope to be a blessing in time of need for people going through an emergency situation such as a house fire, family medical emergency, catastrophic need or other emergencies where people are displaced due to no fault of their own. It will be our privilege to come along side of your organization to make a difference.
