C.J. Strike Reservoir

Twenty-one miles south of Mountain Home, Idaho sits C.J. Strike Dam Recreational Area. C.J. Strike was built in the early 1950s to create a recreational haven for fishing, hunting, camping and boating. This location provides experiences from sailboarding and waterskiing to wildlife viewing. There is year-round access to the lake, boat ramps, camping areas, and picnic grounds. If fishing is what you’re after, C.J. Strike offers both cold and warm water species including bass, crappie, catfish, blue gill, trout and sturgeon, which makes this a popular getaway. You can view the fishing rules for the Reservoir to get more information about the destination.
