Special Event Road Closures in Downtown Mountain Home
MOUNTAIN HOME, ID – The City of Mountain Home’s annual Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event will be the evening of Friday, October 25th, in downtown Mountain Home, and will impose a few temporary road closures in the area.
Please note the following downtown street and parking closures (side streets and parking lots will close at 2pm, Main St. and N 2nd E will close at 5:45pm):
- Traffic on northbound N 2 E between Jackson St. and American Legion will be restricted to right lane only
- Parking on the left shoulder of southbound Main St. between American Legion and Jackson St. will not be permitted
- E 2 N between Main St. and N 2 E will be completely closed to all vehicle traffic
- Jackson St. between Main St. and E 2 N will be completely closed to all vehicle traffic
The Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event will take place from 6:00pm–8:00pm on October 25th. Motorists are encouraged to take extra care to watch for pedestrians when driving in the downtown area as this annual event typically draws thousands of attendees.
Parking is available at Railroad Park.
