Special Event Road Closures in Downtown Mountain Home
MOUNTAIN HOME, ID – The City of Mountain Home’s annual Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event will be the evening of Friday, October 28th, in downtown Mountain Home, and will impose a few temporary road closures in the area.
The following roads and parking will be closed to all traffic* from 2:00–9:00 pm on Friday, October 28th
- E. Jackson St. from N. Main to N. 2nd E. Street
- East 2nd North from N. Main to N. 3rd E. Street
- El Rancho Parking Lot
- HUB Parking Lot
- All street parking along North Main and North 2nd East
*Vehicles registered to participate in the event will receive instructions from the Parks and Recreation Department on when and where to enter the event space.
The Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on October 28th. Motorists are encouraged to take extra care to watch for pedestrians when driving in the downtown area as this annual event traditionally draws several thousand attendees.
Parking is available at Railroad Park.
The City of Mountain Home’s Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event is being coordinated by the Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department. A map with event details will be posted the week of October 24th.
