Central District Health (CDH) is issuing a public health advisory for extreme heat expected this week and potentially beyond. Local and national weather services are predicting triple-digit temperatures across much of central Idaho for the next ten days. The public health advisory will be in place while temperatures exceed 100 degrees for consecutive days. [read more]
The Mountain Home Urban Renewal Agency (MHURA) accepted a proposal at its June meeting from Weitz and Company of Boise for the Hub Building in the city’s historic downtown district. [read more]
On June 22nd and 23rd, Idaho Transportation Department will be redoing the chip sealing at I-84 exits 90, 95, and 99. During this time the interstate will be down to one lane of traffic in those areas. Motorists should expect delays during this time. [read more]
The Elmore County Urban Renewal Agency announced today that the board has voted to accept a proposal from Weitz and Company for future use of the Hub Building site located on the corner of N 2nd E Street and E 2nd N Street in historic downtown Mountain Home. The building occupies a prominent corner of the City's central business district. [read more]
