Mountain Home’s Advisory Committees are formed with the purpose of advocating for goals and objectives, pertaining to a variety of issues facing a growing community, and forwarding those ideas and concerns on to the City Council so formal action may be taken.

Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee
The City of Mountain Home is currently accepting applications for positions on the Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee.
This committee plays an important role in advising the City’s governing authority on development impact fees and related matters within the Mountain Home–Elmore County service area. The City is seeking individuals who are committed to public service and can contribute thoughtful, constructive input.
Who Should Apply:
Qualified applicants may have experience or background in areas such as:
- Development
- Construction
- Real estate
- Or other related fields
Applicants must reside within the service area, as required by Idaho law.
Selection Process:
Committee members will be appointed by the Mayor. Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Relevant professional experience
- Residency qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Completeness and accuracy of the application
Additional Information:
Applicants must provide truthful and complete information, including references. Submitted information may be reviewed alongside publicly available information as part of the selection process.
